Belgrade's Fortress Kalemegdan actually consists of two fortresses and both are located on the delta of Danube and Sava Rivers. One was built by the Serb Despot Stefan Lazarevic and the other was erected by the Turkish and Austrian forces. On the image right underneath, the statue of Winner can be seen in the distance. Kalemegdan today has numerous museums, most notably the military museum. Belgrade's zoo is also located on Kalemegdan.
